I work with brands to create content tailored to their audience. This includes feature stories, product profiles, case studies, newsletters and more.

Advertorial copywriting

I have helped to develop and write many advertorial campaigns for a variety of clients during my time in magazines. I enjoy creating copy that informs and entertains the reader, and drives results for clients.

Feature writing

I write on a wide range of topics from food, wine and beer, to parenting, business profiles and wider lifestyle subjects.

Contract editing

I have experience in editing retail, customer publishing and trade magazine titles. (I am currently the editor of Drinksbiz magazine – a bi-monthly magazine for the New Zealand drinks industry).
I am experienced in commissioning and briefing writers and photographers, liaising with designers and working with advertising sales staff around potential opportunities for clients.

I take pride in helping to create a fantastic end product on time and within budget. 


Content that is clearly written, grammatically correct and with no spelling errors is essential for building credibility with any audience in any medium. I take pride in my attention to detail and am experienced in subbing across magazine features, recipes, advertorials and research reports – from initial drafts in Word, to layouts in InDesign or final checks in PDF format.


I'm a confident speaker with experience in hosting regular reader events during my time in magazines, as well as on-camera presentation, interviewing and voiceover work.
